Instructions

  1.  Season the chicken pieces with a mixture of cornstarch, cayenne pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, thyme, and oregano.
  2. Coat the seasoned chicken with buttermilk and hot sauce, then dredge in all-purpose flour.
  3.   Freeze the chicken for 45 minutes to 1 hour to set the breading.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (180°C) for 3 minutes. Grease the fryer pan and chicken pieces with oil, then air-fry the chicken at 350°F for 20 minutes, turning halfway through.
  5. Check the chicken’s internal temperature, ensuring it reaches 165°F for doneness.
  6. Let the chicken cool slightly before serving with desired condiments like hot sauce, mayonnaise, or lemon juice.
