  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp. butter, melted

Additional Ingredients:

  • 2 Granny Smith apples, cored, peeled & cubed
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Heat up the oil: Heat oil in a pan or fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Add wet ingredients: Create a well in the dry ingredients and pour in eggs, vanilla, milk, and melted butter. Whisk together.
  4. Combine: Fold wet and dry ingredients together until just combined.
  5. Fold in apples: Gently fold the cubed apples into the batter.
  6. Fry: Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil, frying until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Prepare glaze: Whisk together powdered sugar, salt, vanilla, and milk for the glaze.
  8. Coat fritters: Dip fried fritters in the glaze.
