A comforting twist on the classic Chicken Cordon Bleu, this casserole combines tender egg noodles, shredded chicken, deli ham, and a creamy Swiss cheese sauce, topped with a buttery breadcrumb crust.

Egg Noodles:

8 ounces wide egg noodles (about 2 cups)

Breadcrumb Topping:

½ cup seasoned breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons butter, melted

Casserole:

1 (10.5 ounce can) condensed cream of chicken soup
½ cup sour cream
¾ cup milk
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cups shredded cooked chicken
6 ounces sliced deli ham, cut into strips

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook egg noodles until al dente, then drain.

  1. In a small bowl, combine seasoned breadcrumbs and melted butter. Set aside.
  2. In a 9×13 baking dish, whisk together cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, and Dijon mustard. Stir in Swiss and mozzarella cheeses.
  3. Add cooked egg noodles, chicken, and ham to the dish. Stir to coat with sauce. Top with breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until heated through and golden on top. Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
