This Strawberry Heaven on Earth Cake is a delightful dessert that brings together the lightness of angel food cake with the sweetness of strawberry pie filling and creamy layers. Perfect for any occasion!

Angel Food Cake:

  • 10 ounces premade angel food cake, cut into 1-inch cubes

Strawberry Filling:

  • 21 ounces strawberry pie filling

Pudding Layer:

  • 3.4 ounces vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 1⅔ cups cold whole milk
  • 1 cup sour cream

Topping:

  • 8 ounces whipped topping, thawed

Instructions

  1. Prepare Baking Dish: Lightly spray a 9×9-inch glass baking dish with cooking spray. Set it aside.
  2. Layer Angel Food Cake: Place half of the cubed angel food cake on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. Add Strawberry Filling: Spread ⅔ of the strawberry pie filling over the cake layer.
  4. Add Remaining Cake: Layer the rest of the angel food cake cubes on top of the strawberry filling.
  5. Prepare Pudding Mix: In a medium bowl, whisk together cold milk and sour cream. Add the instant pudding mix and whisk until smooth.
  6. Layer Pudding: Spread the milk mixture over the cake cubes.
  7. Add Topping: Evenly spread the thawed whipped topping over the pudding layer.
  8. Final Touch: Spoon the remaining strawberry pie filling in dollops on the whipped topping. Swirl gently with a knife.
