This Easter Crock Pot Candy is a delightful no-bake treat featuring crunchy lightly salted peanuts and creamy white almond bark melted together with colorful pastel M&Ms, then decorated with sprinkles. Perfect for festive occasions, it’s easy to prepare in your slow cooker and makes cute, colorful clusters that are perfect for sharing or gifting.

Ingredients

Scale

Peanut Mixture

  • 2 (16 oz) containers lightly salted peanuts

Chocolate Mixture

  • 48 oz white almond bark, broken into squares

Decorations

  • 12 oz Easter pastel M&Ms
  • Sprinkles for decorating

Instructions

  1. Layer Ingredients: Place the peanuts and broken squares of white almond bark into a 5-quart crock pot, layering them evenly.
  2. Cook on Low: Set the crock pot to low heat and cook for 1 hour, allowing the almond bark to melt slowly.
  3. Stir Frequently: Every 15 to 20 minutes, open the crock pot and stir the mixture carefully to prevent the almond bark from burning on the bottom.
  4. Combine M&Ms: Once the almond bark is fully melted and well combined with the peanuts, stir in about half of the Easter pastel M&Ms to distribute flavor and color.
  5. Form Clusters: Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a cookie sheet lined with wax or parchment paper. Decorate each cluster immediately with sprinkles and the remaining M&Ms before the mixture sets.
  6. Set the Clusters: Place the clusters in the refrigerator or let them sit at room temperature for 1 to 2 hours until the candy has completely hardened and set.
  7. Store Properly: Keep the clusters in an airtight container or ziplock bag and store them in the refrigerator until ready to serve or share. Enjoy your festive Easter candy!

Notes

  • Ensure to stir frequently to avoid burning the almond bark at the bottom of the crock pot.
  • Use wax paper or parchment paper to prevent the clusters from sticking to the cookie sheet.
  • Sprinkles and leftover M&Ms can be swapped for other decorative toppings to customize your clusters.
  • Clusters can be stored refrigerated for up to two weeks in an airtight container.
  • If you prefer a softer texture, allow clusters to set at room temperature rather than refrigerating.
