- 1 pound ground pork
Seasonings:
- 2-inch piece of fresh ginger, minced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- ½ teaspoon Chinese five-spice
- ¼ cup low sodium soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons chili paste

- 16 ounces coleslaw mix (preferably with thinly sliced carrots)

- Prepare the pork: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the pork, ginger, and garlic until pork is cooked through. Drain any excess liquids.
- Add seasonings: Sprinkle with cornstarch and Chinese five-spice. Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, and chili paste. Cook until sauce forms, about 2 minutes.
- Add cabbage: Add coleslaw mix to the skillet, toss to combine, and cover with a lid for 2-3 minutes until the cabbage is slightly wilted. Season with salt, if needed.
