4 tbsp breadcrumbs
1 yellow onion, grated
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp heavy cream
1 egg
Creamy Dill Sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp unsalted butter
1 yellow onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
½ cup low sodium chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp chopped dill, more for serving
Instructions
Prepare Hamburger Steaks: Grate onion into a bowl, add ground beef, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, cream, and egg. Mix, shape into 4 portions, flatten, and set aside.
Make Creamy Dill Sauce: Chop onion, garlic, and dill. Sauté onion and garlic. Add salt, pepper, flour, broth, cream, and dill. Simmer until thickened.
Cook Hamburger Steaks: Brown steaks, remove. Cook onion and garlic, add flour, broth, cream, dill. Simmer, return steaks, cook through. Serve topped with dill and pepper.
