Salmon Bites:
- 1 ½ pounds salmon, (about 4 filets, skins removed, cut into 1-inch cubes)
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Hot Honey Glaze:
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, (room temperature)
- ¼ cup (85 g) hot honey, (homemade or store-bought)
- parsley, (chopped for garnish)
- Preheat air fryer. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F.*
- Combine salmon with seasonings. In a large bowl, combine oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add salmon bites and gently toss to coat.
- Cook salmon in air fryer. Place the salmon bites into the basket of an air fryer in an even layer. Air fry for 9-10 minutes, or until the salmon reaches an internal temperature of 140-145°F, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
- Heat butter with hot honey. Add cooked salmon bites. To a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the butter and hot honey. Once melted and warmed through, turn off the heat. Add the cooked salmon bites. Gently toss to coat.
- Garnish with parsley. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Make sure to remove the salmon skins before cutting into cubes for the best texture.
- Adjust the amount of hot honey based on your spice preference.
- For a crispier finish, you can air fry the salmon for an extra minute.
