Chicken Stir-Fry:

Green Bean Stir-Fry:

  • 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the Chicken: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. Sauté Green Beans: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Stir-fry the green beans for 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.

  4. Combine and Cook: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Pour the sauce over the chicken and green beans, stirring to combine. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through and sauce is slightly thickened.
