For the Tortellini:

  • 24 oz refrigerated cheese tortellini

For the Alfredo Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 10.5 oz peeled and deveined shrimp, thawed
  • 3 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Optional Garnish:

  • fresh chopped parsley
  • lemon slices

Instructions

  1. Cook the Tortellini: Cook the tortellini according to the directions on the package. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sear the Shrimp: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter. Add shrimp and garlic, cooking until shrimp is pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from skillet.
  3. Prepare the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, add Italian seasoning, heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 8-10 minutes to thicken.
  4. Combine and Serve: Add cooked tortellini and parmesan to the sauce. Stir well. Return shrimp to the skillet. Garnish with parsley and lemon slices. Serve hot and enjoy!
