Ingredients
- 1/2 cup lotion (body, hand, or baby lotion)
- 1 cup cornstarch
- Optional: glitter for decoration
- Add Lotion to Bowl: Pour 1/2 cup of your chosen lotion into a mixing bowl.
- Add Cornstarch to Bowl: Gradually add 1 cup of cornstarch to the bowl with the lotion.
- Mix Until Combined: Stir the lotion and cornstarch together until a dough forms. It should start coming together in a ball but not be sticky.
- Keep Kneading until Soft: Remove the dough from the bowl and place it on wax paper. Knead it thoroughly with your hands. If the dough is sticky, slowly add more cornstarch, about 1 tablespoon at a time, and continue kneading until smooth and non-sticky.
- Add Glitter (Optional): If you want your snow dough to sparkle, sprinkle some glitter onto the dough and knead it in evenly.
Notes
- This dough is not edible, so keep it away from young children who might try to taste it.
- If the dough becomes too dry, add a tiny bit more lotion to soften.
- Store the snow dough in an airtight container or zip-lock bag to keep it from drying out.
- You can adjust the consistency by varying the amount of lotion or cornstarch slightly.
- Use wax paper or a silicone mat while kneading to avoid sticking.
